At The State Capitol Rotunda - 2nd Floor | Topeka, KS.
Together, we’ll stand up for our fellow Kansans’ right to fair maps, SNAP benefits, Medicaid, and strong public schools. We’ll let it be known that we stand in solidarity with our immigrant community; that we fully support LGBTQIA+ rights; and that every Kansan deserves a safe and welcoming place to live.
This session, too many state legislators want to gerrymander our maps, strip access to basic human needs and jail our immigrant neighbors. It’s CRITICAL we show up strong, loud and clear.
Tabling starts at 11 am - speakers start at 11:30 am sharp. Speakers include:
Rabbi Moti Rieber, Kansas Interfaith Action
Laurel Burchfield, Mainstream Coalition
Raphael Gonzalez, El Centro
Ashley Hernandez, Sisters of Charity Leavenworth Office of Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation
Rev. Jesse Williams, Kairos Center
Sr. Therese Bangert, Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth
