UAKU Solidarity Night

“The United Academics of the University of Kansas (UAKU) are getting together on September 17th, from 5:00-7:00pm, at the Ecumenical Campus Ministries (ECM) for our Community Solidarity Night. We’re incredibly grateful for all the support for our Rally for Respect last month. As our organizing continues, we want to make sure to stay in touch with as many community members and groups as we can, because solidarity and supporting each other is crucial to a thriving community.
The event will be fairly low-key. We’ll have food, games, and opportunities to mingle and share stories and organizing efforts. We’ll also have childcare (Please RSVP) for anyone who needs it. If you’re with an organization, we’d also like to encourage you to bring whatever materials you might have (fliers, handouts, banners, etc.) to introduce people to your work.
