“STICK IT TO CONGRESS” Tuesday, Feb 17, 11:30
Meet on the North Side of the Kansas Capitol before we walk across the street to Senator Marshall’s office.
Sponsored by Kansas 50501
“The plan is to visit the Topeka offices of both Marshall And Congressman Derek Schmidt and create strong visual images worthy of press coverage. At each office, you will get a chance to make a video communicating your message & also write it on a sticky note which you will then attach to the Congressional office doors. Hopefully we will plaster the doors and surrounding walls with constituent messages!”
“Let’s protest on the sidewalk in front of the office building @ 800 SW Jackson where Marshalls unused office is on 6th floor. While we protest, constituents will take turns going up to his 6th floor office and being videoed as they apply their message to Marshall’s office door.”
”Next we will travel west on 6th Street to Derek Schmidt’s office in the office park at 5th & Frazier. Ask for correct address. Here we will protest nearby 6th street while folks take turns “sticking it to Schmidt” at his office@ 3550 SW 5th St. Schmidt’s office is well hidden so plan to have Ks50501 volunteers to direct you to his door.”
