Thank you to everyone who came out to pick pears. There are still many pears to glean if you want to come back or if you were not able to make it. Comment here or email me to set up a time.
Please tell me more about the Indivisible Climate Group? I am interested in working with others to promote a "bioregional" strategy to mitigate climate and loss of biodiversity. Thank you!
Sounds like a great project for you to spearhead. Our group is small atm. I am hosting the gleaning party around food systems and food waste. Starting where my hands and feet are. Everyone can do something. If you find the google form (under the about tab) you can "sign up" for any action group including climate change (or suggest another action group).
Hi Dale, I don't seem to have your email address to email you as part of the climate group. If you find the action group sign up button on the about tab of this web site. -Ann
That was fun Ann! Thanks for having us over! How much longer will the pears be good on the trees before they turn grainy?- Cary
They should be good for at least a couple more weeks depending on the heat. The green ones may take awhile to turn nice and yellow on the counter.
