“Some questions that will be asked of Mr. Shew.-
1. What changes, if any, will there be to the election process in 2026? (We need to see if any of the governor’s vetoes get overridden)
2. Can the president interfere with the midterm elections? If so, how?
3. What can citizens do to protect the right to vote, and keep voting fair and accessible? (In Douglas County and nationally)”
Jamie Shew was elected County Clerk and County Election Officer for Douglas County, Kansas in 2004 and is currently serving his sixth term. Prior to his election, he worked in higher education administration and business management.
