”We are excited to announce the return of our 3rd Annual Community Resource Fair! We could not put on this event without the support of all the agencies listed below. We’d like to give a special shout out & thanks to Give It Get It Inc & Clare’s Community Closet for partnering with us to distribute winter coats and wearables from their closet. Lastly, we want to give a big thank you to Precision Cuts and Styles for partnering with us to provide free haircuts.
We all hit bumps in the road and need help from our friends and neighbors from time to time. Knowing where to turn can make all the difference. Stop by to check out the many services, supports, and resources available in our community including those related to affordable housing, childcare, healthcare, legal aid, and more!”

Winter Coats and warm winter wearables like hats, gloves, scarves, and socks for attendees (while supplies last)
Kid’s play area with BLOCKFest play and free book giveaways
Free cups of coffee & hot chocolate
Free Haircuts provided on a first come, first served basis courtesy of Precision Cuts and Styles
Lawrence Douglas County Public Health Department will have their Mobile Clinic parked directly outside the front entrance of the Library (Vermont Street) and will offer COVID vaccines and flu shots.
